The Hindu has confirmed that the Entrance exams for the PG courses for the All-India level is now to be held including all the states of the country, and everything is going to be managed by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, and it would be the NEET exams to make it equal availability for all the students from different states in the country. The examinations are to be held online and the notification for the medical PG entrance has already been released, but the Dental exam notifications are yet to be made public.
The states like Andhra Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and few others were having their own university entrance exams, and the students appearing for this would not participate in the National level exams in the past, but from this time all the states and colleges under the Medical Council of India are to provide seats to students who have excelled in the NEET examination.

The National Board of Examination (NBE) will conduct the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) for PG medical and dental courses next academic year onward for making the admission process transparent and streamline admission to these courses.
The test will be conducted for the MD, MS and PG diploma courses offered by every medical college coming under the ambit of the Medical Council of India. It will be held online from November 23 to December 6, 2012 at various centres in 34 cities. The test for dental courses will be conducted by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) for admission in MDS courses offered by dental colleges that come under the Dental Council of India.
The AIIMS will notify the dates of the examination soon, a statement issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said.
The Dental PG entrance exams are expected to be held in the month of December, after the end of the Medical PG exams and everything would be online where the slots are to be booked by the students for a particular date to give an exam.
The examination centers in the Andhra Pradesh state are Hyderabad and Vishakapatnam, which confirms that the Medical PG entrance includes the Andhra Pradesh state too, and same would be the situation in the Dental field.
